  • An entry.

After random one off blogs, snippets of my thoughts and life, moments of spontaneous graphic design, I've decided I should actually write a proper blog. Something more impressive than the nothing I put together then claim is a blog. Need a more interesting life so I can come up with some content. Anyone got any prompts, or maybe send me on a mission to do something.. I'll pause a moment before posting this, I may come up with something on my own.

“”I'm willing to settle on something, anything, as long as it's better than this. Makes sense now though I'm sure I couldn't have seen that before through my all or nothing eyes and pessimistic false smiles. If tomorrow is better than today then it's worth working for, because today wasn't so bad but more is always what we're after.

I'm not so interested in the perfect, epic scale of things. I can see the end goal as that highest of highs though, but I don't need it like I think I used to. Throw in every cliché metaphor about “taking baby steps” and “opening doors”, but they've taken the place of the “nothing is forever”s and “nothing ever matter”s of before.

“”Sitting on a bench watching the white moon rising seems a most natural thing to do, though I'd like to do it more often. Glimmers through the weeks come in through my curtains, but I don't often get to enjoy the experience in full, nor the experiences of any of the stars I engage with.

“”Genius is a word applied to two distinct types of people. Firstly those with abilities beyond human ability, to be beyond human as if they've evolved a point further than the rest of us, be it creative, intellectual or by some peoples perceptions spiritual. The second situation I feel comfortable using the term genius is in my daily conversations which has so much sarcasm.

Both types of genius are capable of perplexing me and leaving me feel exhausted from thinking. They say things that force me to question (the true genius myself, the other them), they do things that amaze (one for the right reasons, one for the wrong) and they capable of extreme more so than the rest of us “people”.

    PERCEPTION

“”Perception is a remarkable concept. It is the thing that makes us right or wrong in arguments of opinion, it is the thing that makes us individuals. Perceptions or truths are the things that make us beautiful but also the things that stop us from attaining perfection. They are the things that make us question, contemplate, and they are the things that consume our thoughts as both the proverbial scratches on the roofs of our mouths and the clouds in the sky on a summers day as we look in their forms for faces and dragons.

“”People online seem to take on mythical proportions. But is that cute photographer really as sureal in reality. And there are young people out there so exceptionally human, but are they as human as they let on or do they have those droning qualities that make them just another computer in the street like all those other computers in the street I walk by and never notice who don't actually exist.

There are characters in this world, and I'm playing as the main one. I interact with others and they get mentioned in the credits section, but then there are all those bots out there. The randoms at the party, the guy who gets a drink before me even though I was there first, the girl I notice even though really she looks just like every other girl, the man with the cool jacket looking at the same section of the store as me. Then there are ghosts. They're everywhere, they're acting as space acts. It doesn't matter if they're actually around or not but the fill in scenery.
People like wall textures or shirt colours.

For those few moments of living in the moment I've had those people existed. Those moments of watching the sunrise while waiting for the bus when the guy in baggy jeans suddenly becomes more important, just because he's there. Then the girl hiding in the corner of the bus shelter, not ready for the day but ready to fake it when she sees someone she knows. I want to fill my life with those glances and hidden smiles you only get from peoples eyes.
